| Abstract: | Concentrations of Al, As, Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, Mn, Ni, Pb, and Zn were measured in four algae from shallow tidal waters. Meltwater sediment seemed to have large influence on accumulation of some metals, and differences showed between young and old tissues of some algae. Highest concentrations were in Desmarestia aculeata with its fine filaments. |
