| Abstract: | Condensed paper. Describes preliminary investigation of landform development in cirque on Mt. Tupikin Kluch, including geomorphological mapping and observations of microtopography, vegetation, material, and soil profile, in order to collect paleoenvironmental data. Radiocarbon dating of valley bottom deposits behind terminal moraine indicates latest glaciation earlier than 4370 ±70 yr BP, contradicting published tephrochronological age. |
