Abstract: Describes relation between modifications in plant pigmentation mechanisms, plant morphology and structure of plant communities resulting from anthropogenic impact. Study was carried out in the Severonikel copper and nickel metallurgical plant. Analyses content of heavy metals (Ni and Cu) in birch leaves. Identifies various adaptive strategies of plants to changing physiological growth of photosynthesis mechanisms.
