Author(s): | Gwynn, Justin P. Dowdall, Mark. Davids, Corine. Selnaes, Øyvind G. Lind, Bjørn. |
Date: | 2004. |
In: | Polar Research. (2004.), Vol. 23(2) (2004) |
Abstract: | Presents a detailed survey of the marine and terrestrial radiological environment of Svalbard, conducted 2000-2002. ⁹⁹Tc activity concentrations in seawater were 0.13 to 0.36 Bq/m³, five times higher than in 1994, reflecting the increase in discharges from Sellafield. Studies the radionuclide concentrations in brown algae, soil, vegetation and seabird colonies. |
Notes: | Polar Research. Vol. 23(2) :167-180 (2004). |
