Record #168917:

Glacial surge dynamics and topographic change of Sortebrae, East Greenland, from synthetic aperture radar remote sensing / Hamish Daniel Pritchard.

Title: Glacial surge dynamics and topographic change of Sortebrae, East Greenland, from synthetic aperture radar remote sensing / Hamish Daniel Pritchard.
Author(s): Pritchard, Hamish Daniel.
Date: 2003.
Abstract: Brae is 52 km ending in tidewater. Pre-surge topography was taken from maps, post-surge from SAR interferometry, limited to areas of fast flow. Flows were measured by interferometry and SAR feature tracking, explained in text. Surge began winter 1992-3 and lasted c. 30 months. Introduction describes Blosseville Coast and its locally unique features.
Notes:

Dissertation submitted for degree of Doctor of Philosophy, University of Leeds.
