Abstract: Volume is outcome of workshop 'Submarine craters and ejecta-crater correlation with a special session on "Icy impacts and icy targets"', held in Svalbard, August-September 2001 as part of ESF IMPACT programme. Meeting aimed to clarify, among other things, influences of presences of liquid or solid water in target, and how water and ice contribute to ejecta formation and distribution. Contains 16 papers including short review, two papers concerning Mjølnir meteorite impact in Barents Sea, and four concerning icy impacts and icy impactors. Remainder are concerned with other marine impacts and ejecta, and experimental methods.
