Abstract: Uses morphological characters to explore relationships between species of all Antarctic Epimeria. Analysis includes species from deep sea and northern hemisphere and discusses evolutionary and biogeographical origin of genus. Ecological preferences and intra-specific morphological variation in relation to phylogenetic tree are also discussed, with particular reference to possibly recent speciation of some Antarctic epimeriids.
