Abstract: It is only known free-living Arctic bryozoan, with strictly Arctic circumpolar distribution. Material was collected in West Spitsbergen. Densities in VV grab and diving samples are presented with environmental data. It is restricted to inner fjord with fluctuations in many factors, and at depths 8 to 240 m. Colonies develop central hole when 3 mm wide.
