Record #167556:

Palatability and nutritional quality of marine invertebrates in a sub-Arctic fjord / H. Lippert, K. Iken.

Title: Palatability and nutritional quality of marine invertebrates in a sub-Arctic fjord / H. Lippert, K. Iken.
Author(s): Lippert, H.
Iken, K.
Date: 2003.
In: Journal of the Marine Biological Association of the United Kingdom. (2003.), Vol. 83(6) (2003)
Abstract: Experiments on palatability of abundant sessile or sluggish invertebrates were carried out in situ, complemented with laboratory assays using predatory starfish. Most species were rejected, so question of whether feeding preferences related to nutritional value - protein, lipid, N, C or water content - was examined, without definite result.
