Record #167498:

Deformation of the 2002 Denali Fault earthquakes, mapped by Radarsat-1 interferometry / Zhong Lu, Tim Wright, Chuck Wicks.

Title: Deformation of the 2002 Denali Fault earthquakes, mapped by Radarsat-1 interferometry / Zhong Lu, Tim Wright, Chuck Wicks.
Author(s): Lu, Zhong.
Wright, Tim.
Wicks, Chuck.
Date: 2003.
In: Eos : transactions, American Geophysical Union. (2003.), Vol. 84(41) (2003)
Abstract: Magnitude 7.9 earthquake which struck central Alaska on 3 November was largest strike-slip quake in North America for over 150 years. 340 km of fault system ruptured with offsets up to 9 m along "new" Susitna Glacier thrust fault. Article discusses mapping of co-seismic displacements associated with this and 6.7 magnitude Nenana earthquake of 23 October.
