Abstract: Presents dietary observations on Dissostichus mawsoni from Ross Sea over 2001 and 2002 summer fishing seasons, and discusses trophic relationships of this species within Antarctic ecosystem. Fish, in particular icefish and Whitson's rattail, were most important prey category, followed in importance by squid, bait and prawns.
