| Abstract: | Uses probability statistical model of fishery operation to make quantitative assessment of intensity of krill removal based on observed fishing effort of Soviet fleet during 1987 to 1990 commercial fishing seasons in waters around South Georgia and South Orkney Islands. Examines impact of krill removal on their density and biomass during months most critical for dependent species. |
