In: African Journal of Marine Science. (2003.), Vol. 25 (2003)
Abstract: Reports current distribution of alien plants on Prince Edward Island based on surveys made in 2001 which show increased ranges of all three introduced species since last survey in 1998. Poa annua remains largely restricted to sites characterized by intense disturbance by seals and seabirds; Sagina procumbens has spread rapidly to colonize west coast of island; and Cerastium fontanum continues to spread but is confined to dry feldmark slopes or erosion scars on western coastal plain. Discusses possible changes to island's terrestrial ecology as result of continued expansion of Sagina procumbens.
