Record #167137:

Distribution, composition, flux and variability of organic carbon in Fram Strait/Yermak Plateau (Arctic Ocean) and (palaeo) environmental significance / Daniel Birgel.

Title: Distribution, composition, flux and variability of organic carbon in Fram Strait/Yermak Plateau (Arctic Ocean) and (palaeo) environmental significance / Daniel Birgel.
Author(s): Birgel, Daniel.
Date: 2003.
In: Berichte zur Polar- und Meeresforschung = Reports on Polar and Marine Research. (2003.), Vol. 463 (2003)
Abstract: Sediments and some sediment records were studied by bulk organic parameters and lipid analysis, classified into three lipid pools. Complex process of lateral and vertical transport has elevated marine organic matter in sediments, with lateral transport playing important role in certain periods in last 30 000 years. One core from Yermak Plateau was especially detailed.
