General tendencies of stable isotopes and major chemical constituents of the Dome Fuji deep ice core / Okitsugu Watanabe, and 11 others.
Title: | General tendencies of stable isotopes and major chemical constituents of the Dome Fuji deep ice core / Okitsugu Watanabe, and 11 others. |
Author(s): | Watanabe, Okitsugu. |
Date: | 2003. |
In: | National Institute of Polar Research. Memoirs. Special Issue. (2003.), Vol. 57 (2003) |
Abstract: | Presents basic analysis of 2503 m Dome Fuji deep ice core, including series of detailed records of oxygen isotope, deuterium and principal chemical constituents covering more than 320-kyr. Divides record into three glacial cycles and describes environmental characteristics of each in terms of chemical constituents and atmospheric trace gases. Describes drill site topography, climate and glaciological conditions. Describes in-situ core measurements and visual stratigraphy and subsequent core sampling. In: Global Scale Climate and Environment Study through Polar Deep Ice Cores: Proceedings of the International Symposium on the Dome Fuji Ice Core and Related Topics, 27-28 February 2001, Tokyo. |
Notes: | National Institute of Polar Research. Memoirs. Special Issue. Vol. 57 :1-24 (2003). |
