| Abstract: | Presents distribution of Veiki moraine identified from air photos of Gaissane mountain area of Finnmark, northern Norway. Notes presence of special erosional landform, where cover of basal till has been removed within well-defined patches, often with cross-sections of 400-500 m. Material seems to have been stripped off and transported way, probably as frozen layer incorporated in glacier and then deposited by ablation in present positions of Veiki moraines. |
