Abstract: Reports debate by General Assembly's First Committee (Disarmament and International Security) on 'Question of Antarctica'. Since 1999 resolution, this debate is held triennially. Malaysia again used opportunity to suggest that Antarctica was more appropriately governed under the auspices of the United Nations than by the Antarctic Treaty System.
