Record #165329:

Population viability of barren-ground grizzly bears in Nunavut and the Northwest Territories / Philip D. McLoughlin, and 6 others.

Title: Population viability of barren-ground grizzly bears in Nunavut and the Northwest Territories / Philip D. McLoughlin, and 6 others.
Author(s): McLoughlin, Philip D.
Date: 2003.
In: Arctic. (2003.), Vol. 56(2) (2003)
Abstract: Models probabilities of population decline as function of annual kill for population of barren-ground Ursus arctos. Results suggest that population is at risk of decline, especially if annual removal rates increase from 42-year mean of 13.4 bears per year. Therefore argues against any increase in current harvest quotas.
