Abstract: Official report on the forests of Canada gives rough estimate of total area under wood in Canada; Prince Edward's Island now has no forests of any extent, and no estimates are given for Manitoba or the Northwest Territories. Report by Assistant-Director of Geological Survey of Canada, divides forest trees east of Rocky Mounts into four groups according to geographical distribution.
