Abstract: Description of survey carried out by North-American Boundary Commission, manned jointly from Canada and United States of America, followed by discussion. Boundary marked by stone cairns or earthen mounds at 3-mile intervals across the great plains, and by iron pillars at mile intervals marking the southern boundary of Manitoba.
