| Abstract: | Proposals had to satisfy both reindeer herding Saami and those who had given it up. Kiruna symposium of 1972 was treated to memories of past times, free fishing in lakes and watercourses, and ptarmigan and other birds for shooting. Other speakers remembered problems in Lapp Taxed Lands. Further consultations took place in Stockholm and Umeå (1973). Contributors included Lars Tuolja, Louise Bäckman and Lars Svonni, on themes of identity and solidarity. |
