Abstract: | Records meteorological observations taken over 10 days in July 2001 on Sofiyskiy glacier, Altai mountains. Snow surface depth increased by 268 mm. Air temperature only rose above 3\degC during daytime in first 5 days. Estimated and observed snowmelt corresponded almost exactly. |
