Title: Havbruksrapport 2002 / Johan Glette, Terje van der Meeren, Rolf Erik Olsen, Ove Skilbrei, eds.
Translated title: Report on use of the sea 2002.
Author(s): Glette, Johan,
Meeren, Terje van der,
Olsen, Rolf Erik,
Skilbrei, Ove,
Date: 2002.
Language: Norwegian.
In: Fisken og Havet. Saernummer. (2002.), Vol. 3 (2002)
Abstract: Sections on farmed salmon and trout and cod, articles on other species - halibut, haddock, turbot, lobsters and shellfish - problems and opportunities. Price of salmon has varied considerably, partly because of farmers' own phasing, partly because of expected competition from Chile, partly because of poor quality compared with wild fish. First, independent article poses objections to farmed fish and to farming metthods, but does not answer them!.
