| Abstract: | Describes treatment of L in his novels by novelist, himself brought up as L and still deeply impressed and fascinated by it. Books described are "Hovedsmannen" (1925), "Fiskere I & II" (1933), "Han som kjempet mot mørket" (1937, about Laestadius (L3)) and "Hyrdene som for vill" (1938, about Kautokeino revolt and commentary by L3 on it). Markusson was first one to see revolt as different from religious hysteria, having several sources. |
