| Abstract: | Concentrates on North Norway, especially relation between pre-Christian Saami religion and L Christianity. Changeover took place through L movement. Laestadius (L3) spoke Saami, and learnt Finnish at Karesuando. He used these as sacral for flock, but was not new in this - von Westen, Leem, Stockfleth and Friis all strove to bring gospel in Saami. Unfortunately, L came at time of strong norwegianisation. |
