Abstract: Translation of unpublished diaries written during voyage of Nadezhda under Kruzenshtern in 1803-06. Löwenstern was fourth officer and cartographer. Expedition set sail from Kronstadt and circumnavigated world via Kamchatka and Sakhalin. Diaries contain frank descriptions of historical events, arguments, sighting and opinions omitted from other accounts of expedition.
