In: Patagonian icefields : a unique natural laboratory for environmental and climate change studies. (2002.),
Abstract: Reviews present knowledge of Southern Patagonian icefield, with inventory of glaciers and recent variations together with other data. Most glaciers show retreat, contributing 6% to global rise in sea level through melting of small glaciers and ice caps. Its mass balance, in particular needs more precise determination.
