Meteorological and climatological aspects of the Southern Patagonia icefield / Jorge F. Carrasco, Gino Casassa, Andrés Rivera.

Title: Meteorological and climatological aspects of the Southern Patagonia icefield / Jorge F. Carrasco, Gino Casassa, Andrés Rivera.
Author(s): Carrasco, Jorge F.

Date: 2002.
Publisher: New York: Kluwer Academic/Plenum
In: Patagonian icefields : a unique natural laboratory for environmental and climate change studies. (2002.),
Abstract: In study of Southern Patagonia icefield, analysis of air temperature and precipitation data from southern meteorological stations for past century shows overall warming and decrease in precipitation up to the mid-1980s, though increase in precipitation after that introduces uncertainty in predicting future climate influences.
