| Abstract: | Analyses monthly sea surface temperatures (SST) and anomalies in Bellingshausen Sea, Drake Passage, Scotia Sea and Weddell Sea in relation to mean monthly air temperature at Arctowski station on King George Island, Antarctica. Discusses correlations between air temperatures at Arctowski station and distribution of SST anomalies at 80° W, and their use in 2-18 months prognosis of variations in mean monthly air temperature at Arctowski. |
