Abstract: Explores characteristics of eddy heat transport taken from high-resolution global ocean general circulation model, by basin, depth interval, and dynamical component. Though rotational component cannot transport heat across latitude circles, divergent component in meandering Antarctic circumpolar current gives rise to strong eddy heat transport.
