| Abstract: | Canada's Rocky Mountains include Border, Continental, Hart and Muskwa ranges, from border of US to northern British Columbia. Glacierized area is estimated at 38,613 km². There is considerable range in size, from ice fields to glacierets, with little mountain-type glaciers scattered throughout ranges, where ice-cored moraines and rock glaciers are also common. |
