| Abstract: | Jan Mayen and Svalbard Lufthavn stations were used. NAO was found not to have significant effect. Statistical analyses and atmospheric circulation are discussed in detail. Monthly mean water temperature anomalies (SST) in Labrador Current, Sargasso Sea, Gulf Stream and cyclonic circulation of North Atlantic had main effect on eastern (Svalbard) Greenland Sea, while western (Jan Mayen) part was also influenced by anomalies over eastern part of North Atlantic. |
