Abstract: Evaluates terrain analysis and object-oriented data modelling for alpine glacier mapping at Nanga Parbat, northern Pakistan. Finds first- and second-order morphometric parameters can be used to study glacier features and delineate debris-covered glaciers. More detailed glacier mapping probably requires three-level hierarchy.
