Record #161792:

Sources of variance in studies of krill population genetics / S.N. Jarman, S. Nicol.

Title: Sources of variance in studies of krill population genetics / S.N. Jarman, S. Nicol.
Author(s): Jarman, S. N.
Nicol, S.
Date: 2002.
In: CCAMLR Science. (2002.), Vol. 9 (2002)
Abstract: Reports results of 2002 mtDNA-based study of genetic variation in Antarctic coastal krill Euphausia crystallorophias which found significant genetic differentiation between samples taken within one region. Discusses hypothesis of distinct genetic stocks of Antarctic krill species, and sampling density needed to determine whether detectable differences between populations of krill are due to geographic separation.
