| Abstract: | Describes spawning locations and distribution of juvenile Champsocephalus gunnari in waters around South Georgia and Shag Rocks, based on data from inshore sampling, larval fish surveys, bottom trawl sampling during demersal fish surveys, and commercial fisheries. Reports strong evidence of inshore spawning during April on north side of island; possibility of second spawning season in January; and indications that most important spawning locations are within bays. |
