| Abstract: | Presents results of 1992-93 quantitative evaluation of nesting resource selection and requirements of gentoo penguin colony at Cierva Point on Danco Coast of Antarctic Peninsula. Stepwise discriminant analysis of 11 habitat variables showed tendency to nest on high flat terraces with prevailing northerly aspect and abundant small pebbles as nest material. |
