Abstract: Describes weathering phenomena observed on summit of Mount Keinath nunatak in Northern Foothills region of Victoria Land, Antarctica, and discusses implications for periglacial landscape evolution and long-term stability of Antarctic ice-sheet. Includes rock varnish, erosional grooves similar to rinnenkarren in karst, and large cavernously weathered hollows or taffoni.
