Abstract: Effects of two giant bergs run aground in Antarctic; Danish geologist has found quartz grain containing 3.8 Ma old seawater; mystery is how geese can have energy to fly from Denmark to NE Greenland and to breed there; Greenland dumps contain quantities of heavy metals; English research shows strong warming in Antarctic, but Dane claims opposite - model was faulty; Home Rule government has totally protected 5 species and limited hunting of 18 others - reason is sustainability; Rasmussen's secretary Emmy Langberg took part in several expeditions and left c. 600 negatives, just auctioned; mummy from Qilakitsoq has been CT-scanned.
