Provides texts of SCAR recommendations on biological prospecting; Antarctic place-names; bathymetric data; meteorological data from Automatic Geophysical Observatories (AGOs); International Programme for Antarctic Buoys (IPAB); rationalization of scientific activities on King George Island; management plans for the Dry Valleys and for protected areas in general; metadata records; commercial exploitation of Antarctic meteorites; geodetic and geographic information; airborne gravity data for geoid computation; climate and palaeoenvironmental past records; importance of magnetometer data; continued support of existing observatories; site testing for astronomical observation; and specially protected species.
