Abstract: | Thesis based on title paper with seven published papers. Studied wind-driven ice drift and deformation in Baltic Sea with high-resolution ice model, in good agreement with actual observations. Found internal ice stress was critical factor when examining influence of sea ice on sea level variations in Baltic using coupled ice-ocean dynamics model. For Bohai Sea, ice-tide interaction is important, with significant influence of ice on tide when ice conditions are severe. Developed satisfactory numerical sea-ice forecasting model. |
