Record #161294:
Field reflectance of snow/ice covers at Terra Nova Bay, Antarctica / R. Casacchia, R. Salvatori, A. Cagnati, M. Valt, S. Ghergo.
Title: | Field reflectance of snow/ice covers at Terra Nova Bay, Antarctica / R. Casacchia, R. Salvatori, A. Cagnati, M. Valt, S. Ghergo. |
Author(s): | Casacchia, R. Salvatori, R. Cagnati, A. Valt, M. Ghergo, S. |
Date: | 2002. |
In: | International Journal of Remote Sensing. (2002.), Vol. 23(21) (2002) |
Abstract: | Authors' main goal is to provide ground data to satellite monitoring of glacial environments through analysis of reflectance. To this purpose, reflectance data acquired in spectral wavelength 350-2500nm concerning several snow / ice surfaces were analyzed taking into account physical characteristics of each target and local climatic conditions. |
