| Abstract: | Describes raised beaches in Lützow-Holm Bay, Antarctica, and discusses relationship between crustal uplift associated with deglaciation and microseismic activity around Syowa station using data on geomorphology and tides, and seismic and levelling data. Local earthquake activity coincides with intermittent crustal uplift, and lack of significant change in levels during period of dormancy from 1982-97 suggest block uplift movement. |
