| Abstract: | Describes work of European Project for Ice Coring in Antarctica (EPICA) at Kohnen station, with particular reference to meteorological interpretation of ice core data. Includes preliminary results of comparison of automatic weather station data and vertical profiling of atmosphere in 2001-02 season, using profile tower, tethersondes and radiosondes, snowdrift observations, measurement of sub-surface temperatures, and isotope studies. |
