Abstract: | Differences may not be extreme, but are nevertheless there, as they always have been. Special articles include one by Greenlander Ole Korneliussen, who sees "cultural imperialism" as inevitable, yet misnomer. Greenland culture is hotchpotch. Prof Sven-Eric Liedman discusses influence of English on independence of Scandinavian languages. It is now Icelanders' second language. Saami and Finnish are not well supported, still less Tornedal Finnish. |
