Record #159892:

A structural segmentation, kinematic analysis and dynamic interpretation of Jakobshavns Isbrae, West Greenland / H. Mayer, Ute C. Herzfeld.

Title: A structural segmentation, kinematic analysis and dynamic interpretation of Jakobshavns Isbrae, West Greenland / H. Mayer, Ute C. Herzfeld.
Author(s): Mayer, H.
Herzfeld, Ute C.
Date: 2001.
In: Zeitschrift für Gletscherkunde und Glazialgeologie. (2001.), Vol. 37(2) (2001)
Abstract: Clearly illustrated study of characteristic patterns of surface of Jakobshavns Isbrae. Using aerial photography and SAR imagery obtained full coverage of ice stream for structural/geometrical analysis. Kinematic analysis on this basis allows Jakobshavns Isbrae to be characterised as autonomous dynamical system.
