Abstract: Through use of new laser tomography method on NGRIP ice cores, depth 54-98 m, finds depth hoar, compacted snow and ice crust layers that indicate previous seasonal and meteorological conditions. Pore ratio studies show as fairly constant during 17th and 18th centuries.
