Record #159235:

The problematic fossil Mongolitubulus from the Lower Cambrian of Greenland / Christian B. Skovsted, John S. Peel.

Title: The problematic fossil Mongolitubulus from the Lower Cambrian of Greenland / Christian B. Skovsted, John S. Peel.
Author(s): Skovsted, Christian B.
Peel, John S.
Date: 2001.
In: Geological Society of Denmark. Bulletin. (2001.), Vol. 48(2) (2001)
Abstract: Spines referred to phosphatic Small Shelly Fossil Mongloitubulus Missarzhevsky, 1977 are described. Type species, M. squamifer, is reported from Henson Gletscher Formation of North Greenland, while M. henrikseni sp. nov. is described from Bastion Formation of NE Greenland. Small plates with broken spine bases suggest that latter may have been bivalved (?) arthropod with multiple spines, but this property may not extend to type species.
