| Abstract: | Jon Meløy has been official reindeer herding chief for six years, taking flak in front and behind, but is not worn out, merely changing his job to section director in Sameting, with responsibility for reindeer herding, inter alia. He has seen many changes in reindeer economy, and been instrumental in bringing in some of these, including law. Supplementary feeding is greatest problem of all, Finland's fault. He summarises his ideal reindeer herding. |
