| Abstract: | Gives details of construction of digital elevation models (DEMs) from 11 air photographs over snow-covered and glaciated areas optimised through contrast-adjusting method called dodging. Results show high degree of agreement with field data and published maps. Some ways of reducing erroneous results have been found. |
