Distribution features of stable oxygen isotopes in the typical monsoon temperate-glacier region, Mountain Yulong in China / Yuanqing He, Tandong Yao, Jiancheng Kang, Meixue Yang, Yongping Shen, Weizhen Sun.
Title: | Distribution features of stable oxygen isotopes in the typical monsoon temperate-glacier region, Mountain Yulong in China / Yuanqing He, Tandong Yao, Jiancheng Kang, Meixue Yang, Yongping Shen, Weizhen Sun. |
Author(s): | He, Yuanqing. Yao, Tandong. Kang, Jiancheng. Yang, Meixue. Shen, Yongping. Sun, Weizhen. |
Date: | 2001. |
In: | Chinese Journal of Polar Science. (2001.), Vol. 12(1) (2001) |
Abstract: | Discusses investigation of spatial distribution of oxygen stable isotopes in glaciological areas around Mount Yulong, where conditions are controlled by monsoon from southern Asia. Suggests strong "precipitation amount effect". Variation of stable isotopes in runoff can demonstrate both flow and sources. |
